pearls for girls

Pearls_for_girls

The last of the little gifties for some sweet, 20-something girlies!  After a lot of sewing this season, stringing beads and wrapping wire was so much fun!

I'm on vacation from work until the first of the year, so I'm going to take a break from the computer as well.  I hope to just knit and run and nap, and hang out with my family!  Joyous!!

I wish you all a relaxing and very merry Christmas!

oh my goodness!

My little tissue holders are over here!  Thank you Sew, Mama, Sew!  I'm flattered, and blushing, and smiling!  And if you've popped over from over there--Welcome!

excuses, excuses...

Boy, I've been slack on the blog-front lately!  My last post was November 16, oh my!  But I'm finally entering the home stretch with my (overly ambitious!) handmade Christmas gift plans.  Really, it's the only excuse I have to offer!

But the tree is decorated,

and the angel is all aglow.

Santa Lucia and her attendants are in procession,

and Margaret's annual gingerbread house has been made.

Gifts for the ladies are all in a row,

and one for a charity auction, too!

(I really don't want to see another piece of Timtex anytime soon.)

And finally, A gift package for my Mama,  (Clearly, I was under the influence of Lisa Leonard's beautiful designs when I made this necklace at Ornamentea!).

Oh, and what do you make for 24 co-workers?!  Russian tea out of desperation, of course!  Yup, it's that ultimate 1960's holiday gift, Tang and all!  But let's just call it orange-spice tea and maybe no-one will notice?

Phew!!
